Frequently Asked Question
Installation Q08 Can this be installed in an apartment without drilling into the pipes?

You'll have to drill a 1/4" hole into the drainpipe for washing out water minerals and possibly a 5/8" hole in your sink or countertop for the drinking water faucet. If you're not allowed to modify your apartment, you can choose the drainpipe section that's easily replaceable and replace it back with a new piece when you move out. Also, you may find another place to mount your faucet. Any existing hole larger than 5/8" will do.
