Cloudy water is completely normal with a new installation or recent filter change. The cloudy appearance is caused by the presence of air trapped within the system. As the air works its way out of the filter, it will create the micro bubbles that you see in the water. If you leave a glass of water to sit, bubbles will become clearly visible once they begin to merge together and float to the surface.
